Good Reads

Bringing Up Girls

I’ve finished reading “Bringing Up Girls” by Dr. James Dobson.  It is a must-read for any father who is raising a daughter, or if you’re like me, 4 daughters.  Dr Dobson, along with others that he has included in his studies and written material, makes it clear just how important it is to lay a strong foundation spiritually, mentally, and physically in our young girls’ life.  It is not a book to rush through but it is one that you will look forward to reading.

Make Me A Legend

Today, I downloaded a new book by Chuck Balsamo called “Make Me A Legend – For the Dream of a Better Tomorrow.”   I’ve just started reading but believe this will be a motivating book.  It sounds like it will be a challenge to wake up the sleeping thousands so they  can walk in the greatness that God has designed them for.

About ricklittreal

I am a regular guy who lives an extraordinary life. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife who is a great encouragement to me. She is a mighty woman of God, blessed with a great anointing in worship. He has given us 4 daughters who, while challenging us, bless us every day in some way. I love being the daddy of 4 girls, I wouldn't have it any other way. My desire is to live a life that pleases God. To live a life that not only acknowledges God but is totally surrendered to Him - and I want to encourage others to do the same.
